Limited Hand Function
Our hands define how we interact with the world. They are essential to our identity, independence, and quality of life.
However, they are also vulnerable. Losing hand function due to injury or illness can feel overwhelming and limiting, affecting even the simplest daily tasks.
Common causes of hand function limitations include:
- Neurodegenerative diseases – ALS, Parkinson’s
- Neurological conditions – Stroke, spinal cord injuries
- Autoimmune disorders – Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis
- Age-related conditions – Sarcopenia, Osteoarthritis
- Traumatic injuries – Hand fractures, nerve damage
